Xbmc not updating library for tv shows
Because the problem affected all 4 of my boxes, I'm guessing that something went wrong during the updates...
Sometimes upgrading from one release to another can be challenging.I had the XBMC Auto Update Add-On running on all of my 5 machines that experienced this problem, so I'm disabling that for now and will see if the problem recurs. It is almost time to upgrade XBMC to Kodi Media Center and this post will show you how to do that on Windows, Linux, Android, and OS X.If SAMBA is enabled, you can also use a Windows computer to access it: \IPADDRESS\Userdata\Database Then delete the "My Videosxx.db" file After you have done one of the three options, above, reboot the machine by selecting the power button in the bottom left hand corner of the XBMC interface or by typing “reboot” at the command prompt. After you delete the database, you will then have to edit each source and reset its content to Movies or TV Shows in order to force XBMC to rescan those files. But, a week later when I added several new items to a movie directory, they were never found.
